We attended DragonCon in the beginning of September 2006 and brought with us some leather lanyards for sale ($10 a piece). They had different sayings from the TV series Firefly stamped on them. We tried to give them a 'Firefly Universe' feel, letting some letters be out of place, letting the stain look somewhat weathered, and so on. We attached a split ring at the end of the lanyard with rivets, in case someone wanted to add something onto the lanyard that doesn't have a clip.
Since then, our lanyards have been one of our best selling items, and we've expanded our selection of sayings to include the movie Serenity, Dr. Horrible's Sing-A-Long Blog, Dollhouse, Battlestar Galactica and Star Gate SG1.
All of the lanyards will have a series identifying saying on the left side and your chosen saying on the right (as you look at the lanyard). Each sub page will describe this further.
